Chamber of Commerce
The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose
of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interest
of Hancock County and its trade area.
The Chamber is Hancock County's business organization. Its members
are county-wide and they are united for the purpose of improving the
business climate, the growth and prosperity of the county's economy.
There is strength in numbers. The more business and professional people involved as members, the stronger and more effective the chamber will be. Without growth, the chamber diminishes in size and more importantly effectiveness.
The chamber program includes:- Monthly officer and director planning meetings
- Monthly membership meetings, featuring a current business topic presented by a guest program speaker
- A spring and winter seminar / workshop
- Committee activities surrounding community special events
