HICKORY HILLS TOBACCO Tobacco Worker-All workers should be physically able to meet & perform the work outlined in the contract for the entire period of time from 05/01/2014 to 12/20/2014. Workers will seed, transplant, cultivate, cut, house & strip tobacco. May also prepare barns & land, do maintenance of tools & equipment related to job. Worker should be able to bend, stoop & stand on their feet for long periods of time. The confirmed adverse effect wage rate for the area of employment is $10.10 per hour for 2014. The prevailing wage rate for topping, cutting & housing tobacco is $10.10. Wages are paid weekly. The employer guarantees to offer a least 3/4 of the hours listed in the contract.
