Hancock County Fish and Game Club

The club offers a 200 acre recreation area with a 20 acre lake for fish.  Whether camping, fishing, picnicking or using the shooting range, there's something for everyone.
 
The club is located at 2052 Franklin Gaynor Road.  Directions from stop light in Hawesville are:  Follow 1389 4 miles to Franklin Gaynor Road, turn left (Sign Posted) the farm is 3 miles on the left.

Membership

Membership Fee - $40.00 per household annually expires March 31st
(US Veterans offered a 25% discount if disclosing proper documentation.)

Membership is limited to 400 households

Get involved in making the Club better for everyone by attending meetings.  Monthly meeting times and location will be posted in the Hancock County Clarion, on the Hancock County website and posted on the Club’s bulletin board.  We will also notify by e-mail if we have your e-mail address.  Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the Kenergy building in Hawesville.  Your suggestions are encouraged and any complaints will be addressed.

General Rules

·        Speed limit in all areas of the farm is 10 MPH.  Watch for children playing!

·        Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in any area of the farm, with the exception of the shooting range, which requires adult supervision for persons under the age of 18.

·        Firearms are permitted only in the shooting range.

·        All pets must be on a leash and under the owner’s control.

·        No alcohol or illegal drugs.

·        Members may bring guests for a fee of $3.00 per day, per guest, to fish and use the shooting range.  $1.00 per day to swim, camp or picnic.  Children under 12 years of age are $ . 50 per day.  Members camping are permitted a maximum of 5 guests.

·        Do not pollute the farm or lake with cans, bottles, trash or undesirable fish.

·        No hunting on the farm!

·        Carry membership card with you when on the farm.

·        Persons violating rules or destroying Club property will be subject to expulsion and any laws that may apply.

·        Nor horses or ATV’s permitted on the farm.  No vehicles permitted off the roads without permission of a Club Officer.

·        Be considerate of other members/campers by keeping noise at a respectable level., especially after 10:00 pm

·        ALL RULES POSTED ON CLUB PROPERTY MUST BE OBEYED!!
